Genenika Lamson

Genenika is an Ojibwe artist. When she was a teenager her Grandmother taught her how to bead and she has since incorperated this traditional craft into her personal artistic practice. When choosing the colors and patterns for her beading, Genenika focuses on contrast, making sure each piece stands out. When not making art, Genenika enjoys rug hooking and diamond art kits. Genenika says this about her art: “I hope my art inspires your spirit. I hope my art inspires you to follow your dreams and do whate you want to do.”
