I do not believe "ugliness" exists in outward appearances. I want to use my art to make commonly feared animals to look just as worthy of life and radiant as we humans. I want to draw people deemed "unattractive" with the same sincerity as I would draw anyone else. I think my goal as an artist and highlight each person or character is to illustrate what makes them beautiful and unique. To draw them as sincerely and magnificently as the old masters painted royals and holy figures...regardless of their social status or situation in life. To make the viewers briefly forget the concept of "ugliness" or "lesser individuals exist."
