Our Program
Fresh Eye Arts is a fine arts program for artists with disabilities. Established in 2017, we offer artists opportunities to explore, develop, and grow their art practice. Our program is supported by a team of professional teaching artists. Along with the studio program, we own and run Fresh Eye Gallery, a community gallery in Minneapolis, MN, that blurs the lines between artists with and without disabilities. Artists in our studio program art are provided a studio space with high-quality art supplies (needed?) We offer workshops and mentorships by professional artists across the Twin Cities. We are a service offered by MSS, a day services provider that serves the Twin Cities Metro area of Minnesota.
Artwork created by Fresh Eye artists has been sold nationally and internationally, and our artists have exhibited work at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, The Minnesota Museum of American Art (St. Paul), SOO VAC (Minneapolis), GAMUT Gallery (Minneapolis), The Textile Center (Minneapolis), SHRINE gallery (virtual NYC), COACHELLA (Indio, CA), Galerie C.O.A. (Montreal, QC) and many other spaces including our Fresh Eye Gallery in Minneapolis.
